3D Foraminifera

Model Data
Click on the species of interest to access the raw and processed data that can be downloaded for teaching and outreach purposes. Each species page also contains 3D manipulatable models. Most specimens also have accompanying light microscope photographs. We will continually update the site when new MicroCT scans are completed.

If you are searching for a species, but don't see it below, reach out to foraminarium@gmail.com and let us know what you are looking for.
The data and files shared on this website are for teaching and outreach purposes only. We (the Foraminarium) own the copyright for the 3D models.
Commercial use is strictly prohibited.
*Note: Models are reconstructed from projected images and show the inverse of the actual specimen. Thus, the coiling direction of the model is the opposite of what is expected.
