Globorotalia crassaformis
Life: G. crassaformis is a deeper-dwelling non-spinose species with no known symbiosis. It is common in warm subtropical to tropical waters of the modern ocean. Distinguishing features: G. crassaformis is macroperforate and has a planoconvex (flat spiral side) and trochosprial test with 4-4.5 chambers in the final whorl and no keel.
