Tenuitella
Life: Tenuitella is a non-spinose genus of foraminifera (T. fleisheri, T. iota, and T. parkerae). Tenuitella has a tropical to temperate distribution, but is common in temperate waters. Typical adult size <150 microns. Distinguishing features: Tenuitella is has a small, low trochospiral shell with 4 or more globular chambers in the final whorl.
