Genus Favocassidulina (suspected)
Description: The genus Favocassidulina is present in middle Miocene to recent sediments in the Indian and Pacific oceans. Its habitat is benthic near-shore. The shell surface is finely perforate and often covered in a microgranular veneer. The shell surface is covered in a secondary honeycomb network of narrow elevated ridges forming distinct polygonal open areas.

The 1 scanned specimen is obtained from a shallow sediment core of the Ontong Java Plateau in the western equatorial Pacific.
