Globorotalia scitula
Life: G. scitula is a non-spinose deeper dwelling planktic foraminifera. This species is abundant in temperate waters of the modern ocean and present in tropical and subtropical waters.
Distinguishing features: This species have 4 - 5 chambers in the final whorl, and a delicate low trochospiral shell. The shell outline is subcircular and has no keel. The shell surface is smooth. Typical adult size >150 microns.
