Globigerinella siphonifera 
Life: G. siphonifera is a symbiont bearing shallow dwelling species that is abundant in temperate waters and is also present in tropical waters of the modern ocean.
Distinguishing features: The species has fine spines that cover the shell. It is initially trochospiral and becomes nearly planispiral coiling. Chambers are globular to long and oval, and the aperture is umbilical. Typical adult size >250 microns.
Other names: Globigerina aequilateralis
