Life: G. theyeri is a non-spinose deeper dwelling species. It is a common temperate water species in the modern ocean. Distinguishing features: This species has lobate chambers, and a distinct but thin keel, strongly curving spiral sutures, and trochospiral coiling. Typical adult size is >250 microns.
