Neogloboquadrina dutertrei
Life: N. dutertrei is a non-spinose deeper dwelling species that is abundant in tropical to warm subtropical waters of the modern ocean.
Distinguishing features: This species has 5-7 inflated chambers in the final whorl, a broad and deep umbilical-extraumbilical aperture that often has a pointed lip. Shell surface texture is cancellate. Typical adult size is >250 microns.

There are 2 scanned N. dutertrei. The first specimen is from a shallow sediment core on the Ontong Java Plateau in the western equatorial Pacific and the second specimen is obtained from three depths of the PARFLUX Panama Basin sediment traps deployed between December of 1979 and November of 1980.

Note: ​Data 'stacks' contain the minimally processed 3D data (TIF files) that can be imported into your favorite 3D data processing software program (we use imageJ). The STL file is processed and ready for 3D printing.
